My dad and mom made a wonderful team. They prayed together both morning and evening and won battles on their knees. They prayed till the Heavens were rent and waves of revival swept through the crowds whom they addressed. Many were transformed. Daddy’s themes were centered round the truth that “SIN AND FAITH NEVER DWELL TOGETHER.”

When the SPIRIT OF REPENTANCE was poured out on the crowds, after his addresses in churches, much sin used to be confessed with bitter tears. Restitutions followed and stolen things returned and people would come clean and put things right even with estranged wives or husbands. Humbling confessions and forgiving each other would be followed by their getting back together and rebuilding the wreckage of their families, with their new-found LOVE and FAITH.

While Dad’s message thundered forth, Mother’s message would be delivered with womanly modesty and grace. Like the ‘oneness’ which characterized them in the home and in their thinking, their platform deliveries also complemented and supplemented each other.

Any thoughtful reader will find much ‘spiritual gold’ in this small compilation of some of their messages.
