Singh was suddenly and soundly converted after a period of intense seeking after the true living God. Brought up in a strict Sikhfamily, his conversion occasioned an immediate, intense opposition, to the point that his family poisoned him. God preserved him, however, and used him mightily. With a heart heavily burdened to give the love of Christ to those who have never even heard of His salvation, Singh accomplished twenty arduous missionary journeys to the people of Tibet, often enduring severe North-Indian winters. He preached Christ also in the Muslim strongholds of Baluchistan, Afghanistan, and Kashmir — areas fraught with danger, and filled with religious bigotry. Near The Cross But Lost – Punjabi https://beautifulbooks.org/product/near-the-cross-but-lost-punjabi/ Mon, 13 May 2024 05:01:51 +0000 https://beautifulbooks.org/?post_type=product&p=4731 The Cross is the only place where God and the sinner meet. There is no other meeting place between the Holy God and sinful man. Only one place—the Cross of Christ, the Cross where Jesus died for sinners.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) I know this, I have tasted this. I
have found this to be true. I know it in my bones and in my marrow. I know that Jesus lives. I know He is risen. I know He has taken my sins away. I know He died for me. I know the victory and deliverance which He has brought into my wicked life. Can you say like that?

Have you ever gone to the Cross? —Joshua Daniel
