The Cross is the only place where God and the sinner meet. There is no other meeting place between the Holy God and sinful man. Only one place—the Cross of Christ, the Cross where Jesus died for sinners.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) I know this, I have tasted this. I
have found this to be true. I know it in my bones and in my marrow. I know that Jesus lives. I know He is risen. I know He has taken my sins away. I know He died for me. I know the victory and deliverance which He has brought into my wicked life. Can you say like that?
